It was intended to be a haven for craft and creativity. At one point, a group of [[Artiston Pilgrims|pilgrims]], led by [[Tai Pai]] made a journey back to their homeland and brought with them their discovery of [[Colored Paint]] and [[Miracle Box]]. This was one of the events that helped spark [[The Second Guild War]]. The secret truth about the pilgrimage is that the [[Miracle Box]] was created using [[The Grand Ritual]]. The price was the death of half the population of Artiston and the desolation of the surrounding land.
