##### Summary
Ladt Esbeth, a valuable informant for the resistance, is at risk of being exposed. The plan is to stage a kidnapping of Esbeth and plant some evidence implicating Bowmore. The family is hosting a masquerade ball on their estate and it has been deemed the perfect opportunity for the "kidnapping."
Z worked with Master Bowmore as a security consultant, giving them excellent access to plant the fake evidence.
Ebb poisoned the canapes so that everyone started vomiting.
Katya worked closely with Esbeth and [[Kalea]] so that they all had the same red dress - creating plenty of confusion.
They got away with Esbeth.
The kidnapping and frame job were both a success. Bowmore was arrested and executed by the Empire and Lady Esbeth was able to continue her role as secret informant, albeit with a little more care into covering her tracks. They crew even got some ransom money out of the deal.
Things didn't turn out great for Z though. Given that they were a consultant for a party where both a noble lady was kidnapped and the head of security was implicated as a member of the resistance, they were demoted to a desk job. That there was no direct evidence tying them to Bowmore and his "crimes" was the only reason they weren't executed as well.
#### Results
- Lady Esbeth was free of suspicion for now
- Master Bowmore was executed.
- Z demoted to desk duty

> [!NOTE]- Full Summary
> The [[Viselly Family]] is a prominent noble family in [[Kelport]]. It has colluded with the Empire and lent its wealth and power to the invaders.
>
> [[Lady Esbeth]] is the daughter of [[Lady Viselly]], the family martiarch. She has secretly been helping the cause by passing intel to the Starwhal network. Her information has proved invaluable on multiple occasions and has saved conutless Ferrelander lives. It seems that the Viselly Master of Arms, [[Master Bowmore]] is on to her. Esbeth fears he might come forward soon and needs to get in front of this - both to preserve this valuable intel source and to protect her life.
>
> The plan is to stage a kidnapping of Esbeth and plant some evidence implicating Bowmore as both the kidnapper and the inside agent for the rebellion. The family is hosting a masquerade ball on their estate and it has been deemed the perfect opportunity for the "kidnapping."
>
> Getting into the ball was easy enough. [[Z]] was able to make arrangements to consult on the security with [[Master Bowmore]]. [[Katya]] was on site in a professional capacity to help with the gowns of the ladies at the ball. [[Ebb]] was in attendance in their role as attendant for the [[Cremont family]].
>
> When Z arrives at [[Viselly Manor]], he is greeted by [[Lord Viselly]]. [[Lady Esbeth]] is nearby and Z manages to hand her a note that read "Be ready to take a stroll." They then proceeded into the ball room.
>
> Ebb was already in the ballroom, having arrived already with the Cremonts. It is important to note that the quartet playing the music featured a violinist named [[Corel]], who vaguely resembles Ebb and that Ebb HATES them.
>
> Ebb attempted to enter the area of the house that led to Bowmore's office, but were turned away by a skeptical guard. Z showed up and used their clout to get both of them past the guard to scout out the area around Bowmore's office.
>
> Meanwhile, Katya was in the Tea Room, which was serving as a dressing area and place for any last minute alterations. She told a servant that she noticed Esbeth's dress was having an issue and the servant rushed off to fetch Esbeth.
>
> When Esbeth arrived, Katya was able to whisper the plan to her. Esbeth threw a fake tantrum and ordered everyone but Katya to leave the room. Katya learned of the escort that doesn't leave Esbeth's side and that seems to be a potential wrinkle. However, the next phase of the plan proceeds. Esbeth and Katya both changed into the same red dress (also worn by Kaya's sex worker friend [[Kalea]]). They both left and Esbeth's guard escorted her back to the family in the ballroom.
>
> FLASHBACK
> When Z visited Bowmore prior to the event, they happened to notice the type of lock that was on the door. They were able to practice on the same model to the point where they could pick it blindfolded.
>
> After scouting around, Z returned to the office door. With their back to it, they picked the lock with ease and entered the room. They tried to find a good place to plant the incriminating documents, but the office was very meticulously organized and there really wasn't a perfect spot. They did the best they could and quietly left the office.
>
> They ran into Bowmore who brought them back into their office to discuss security matters. Z tried to convince Bowmore to pull the guard off of Esbeth, but only succeeded in arousing Bowmore's suspicion.
>
> Back in the ballroom, Ebb managed to poison the canapes. Once the vomiting started chaos ensued. Katya managed to get close to Esbeth, causing more confusion with the matching dresses. She went out to the garden with some guards in pursuit and began to fake vomit in a bush. She took the opportunity to quickly slip out of the red dress and make an escape.
>
> After falling to the floor and hitting their head, Ebb accused the violinist for the poisoning. Bowmore was convinced but also decided to drag Ebb along. Ebb was able to take a little of their own poison in order to start vomiting on Bowmore, facilitating their own escape.
>
> Z rushed through the crowd, tripping a guard along the way. They met up with Esbeth to escort them out. They threw their shadow cloak over Esbeth and they left both the manor.
