The crew needs to rescue Creed Potts, the defensive mastermind who is crucial to the war effort. Using the Imperial carriage they procured in the first score, they got in under the guise of making a delivery of coffins. Z and Zephyr caroused with the troops for intel while Imogen subdued a gate guard. Ebb met up with a moneylender that was known to the Cremont family who gave him some valuable advice. Ronin, meanwhile, entered the city through the caves beneath. After a rough start that involved his boat sinking, he explored the tunnels. He found his way to the undercity marina where he scoped out a good getaway ship. Then he easily snuck up to join the others. Imogen communicated with the Ferrelanders on the wall above them using Julian and Ferreland hand signs. Z set up a chain reaction that wound up knocking over the wall that the Falonian soldiers and Ronin provided cover fire to pin them down while the solders on the wall mowed them down. Ebb commanded the surviving soldiers to surrender and Zephyr opened the gate into the upper city. Reduced Heat by spreading knowledge of other groups > Ronin- Hunting food for the crew to train Hunt. Drew up plans for a Super Fine rifle with the help of Casta, a bounty hunter > Imogen - Researched Bliv in the workshop. Researched supernatural library books for mediation practices and communicating with her snake (Julian the Water Moccasin). > Zephyr - Trained Tinker by taking devices apart and putting them back together > > **Gather Information** > Ebb- Convinced Lord Cremont that the situation in Blackrock could be exploited. Got a contact for a money changer named Sly. > Imogen- Had Julian swin along the coast and found tunnels under the city and a good entrance on the south side. > Z- Borrowed a boat to observe the city from the water. Saw a 12 carriage caravan arrive and that the empire was using Freelanders to rebuild the defense of the city. > Ronin- Talked with a soldier in the Stonecastle brothel and was able to get a rough map of the underground tunnels leading into the city. > Zephyr - Consorted with some dock workers in Kelport and found that the caravan contained supplies, but also Bliv, coffins, and prisoners. The coffins were not empty. > > **Special Delivery** > Everyone but Ronin entered the city on their Imperial Carriage with some very convincing papers. Z and Imogen were driving the carriage while Zephyr and Ebb hid in coffins. Once inside Lower Blackrock, they set about their tasks. > > Z and Zephyr drank with some off duty soldiers around a fire. While Z did get a little tipsy, they discovered that Creed had not been captured yet and was likely holed up in Upper Blackrock, which had not been taken yet. > > Ebb tried passing in to Middle Blackrock with the letter of introduction provided by Lord Cremont. The officer on duty was not impressed and assigned an army escort for Ebb to take him to Sly. The money lender was able to tell them about a secret passage down to the docks that they could use for their escape once they had their man. He also let him slip out the back of the shop to elude his escort. > > Imogen waited for a shift change and then quietly dispatched the guard at the Middle Gate with her throwing knives. She dragged the guard to a hidden alcove and took his place on gate duty. Z and Zephyr met up with her and they all proceeded to the middle level of the city. Z and Imogen began some prep by scouting the area. Zephyr tried to attune with some spirits in the area but instead was met with a psychic attack from a ghost that would go on to haunt them (in a manner to be determined). > > **Boat Troubles** > Ronin tried to pass unnoticed along the southern coast to access the tunnels with their getaway boat. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and he was fired upon from the defensive walls. He took the gunman out with a headshot, but not before his boat got a few holes and started taking on water. He made it to the tunnel entrance and tried to fix the holes in the boat, only to make it worse. The boar sank to the bottom. > > He explored the tunnels and found his way to the undercity marina where he scoped out a good getaway ship.
