Garrox squad caused all sorts of chaos and turned everyone against each other. A few things discovered prior to the score: - There is tension between [[Cremont family]] and [[Viselly Family]]. [[Lord Cremont]] was maybe going to marry [[Lady Esbeth]] but she refused - [[Lord Varent]] owes a gambling debt to [[Commander Korr]]. Korr wants [[Lord Viselly]] to pressure Varent to pay up Darius managed to get a job as the driver for Lord Varent. He managed to trick Varent to take a shot near Commander Korr, and it looked like it he was trying to kill the commander. Katya tarvelled with Esbeth and the Viselly family. She attempted to assassinate Major Korr and made it sound like there was an "Alliance of Rebellious Nobles." Ebb worked closely with Lord Cremont throughout the day poisoning his mind and body. Z infiltrated the military escort disguised as a soldier. They coordinated with the Firebrands, who launched an attack that led to Commander Korr's death by explosion. At the same time, Zephyr worked among the catering staff and managed to deliver poisoned goods to many of the attendees. By the end of the day, Commander Korr was dead and nobody knew who was truly responsible. The military blamed rebellious nobles. The nobles blamed each other. Lord Varent was under suspicion because of the rifle shot. The Viselly and Cremont families became even more hostile toward one another. Rumors of secret conspiracies and rebel plots spread throughout Kelport. Scrats were small mammals similar to minks and were prized for their fur, which was often used to make tacky scarves. The nobles rode in chariots and hunted with rifles while servants, guards, and soldiers followed behind. > > Among those attending were Commander Korr and his son, Major Korr; Lord Bendis Viselly and Lady Esbeth; Lord Cremont; and Lord Varent. > > There was already tension in the group before the hunt began. The Cremont and Viselly families had been feuding for some time. Part of the problem stemmed from Grayson Cremont's failed attempt to court Lady Esbeth, who had rejected him. Commander Korr was also pressuring Lord Varent over a large gambling debt. During the hunt, he convinced Varent to fire his rifle in the direction of Commander Korr. The shot did not hit anyone, but it immediately caused confusion and suspicion. Varent ordered his capture, but Darius drove the chariot away at full speed before making a daring leap to freedom. > > Katya traveled with the Viselly family. While fleeing, she shouted about an "Alliance of Rebellious Nobles," planting even more suspicion among the nobles. She escaped by changing back into a servant's uniform. Although she got away, Major Korr got a good look at her face and would recognize her in the future. > > Ebb worked closely with Lord Cremont throughout the day. They quietly poisoned him while encouraging him to take advantage of any conflict between the noble families. Their advice was so effective that Cremont began to rely heavily on them.
